 V.S.  This fight has been on my mind for a while. I feel Star Wars characters essentially cap at Nappa, but I feel Darth Vader would be a challenge for Raditz. Great topic. Darth Vader is really powerful in the force, and that's not even his full potential. What I do know is Darth Sidious is way more powerful than Darth Vader since Vader never had the power to overthrow him and get revenge for all of his lies. So with that being said, the emperor was always ahead of Vader. Darth Sidious > Darth Vader. What I do know from my reading of Star Wars is, when Darth Sidious's spirit was resurrected into another body, post-Return of the Jedi, he had the power to use his Force Storm to take out like surfaces of planets and other things like that. We know that Darth Sidious is one of the strongest life-forms in Star Wars history. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_storm_%28wormhole%29 There's Master Roshi, Piccolo, and maybe Kami capable of destroying the moon, and then there's Vegeta capable of destroying Earth. I know this is about Darth Vader but it seems even the emperor would fall short to at least Raditz. Raditz could probably still defeat Vader using Ki vs. The Force. I feel Raditz would definitely give Vader trouble, but I feel Vader would win. His ability to choke a person out would most likely give him an edge. I say this because he could potentially use his powers to apply force to Raditz's tail. He could then kill him while he's immobilized. |

Yeah, I'm talking a one on one brawl. Raditz would most likely laugh and Vader's BP and ultimately arrogantly toy with him giving Vader ample time to find a way to beat him. |

I always liked Star Wars, but the tought of a battle between a SW character and a DB character never crossed my mind. My knowlege in SW is limited to the movies, the animated series (not sure on it's canonicity), and a lot of reading trough the wiki, so feel free to correct me if i am wrong. If they go for a one-on-one battle, Vader wins if he has fast enough reaction time. Exploiting the tail makes winning against Raditz something easy. Use the force to crush his tail, them finish him while he pleas from his life. If they go from a force/ki struggle like Professor is suggesting, it depends on which you believe is stronger (force or ki). I personally go with ki, so if they are using the life forces of their respective universes, Raditz has the edge. On a more straight forward fight, however, i give it to Vader. Yeah, I don't feel Vader's force abilities outmatch Raditz's battle power. If Vader were exposed to a Sith artifact, he might be able to push back, but eeeh I'm not sure. I haven't really seen Vader's upper limits with one sooooooooooo....

It almost makes me cry considering how badass Vader looks in that picture compared to Raditz, but I'd probably go with Raditz too. |

Well, we have Raditz's power level calculated in the low thousands. Darth doe's not have a known power level , if he did.... I would assume it would be in the high ten thousands. Raditz may have more combat techs, but in the end I believe Vader would mind control him and Spartan cut his head off. :/ |

Darth Vader will lose if Raditz is blood lusted or smart. However, Raditz is an idiot and will get force choked |

Mind control's a bit of a wild card on Raditz IMO. He might be an idiot, but I think his Saiyan aggression might cut off anyone trying to control him like that. |

Vader says out his mouth "The power to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force so The Force> power level of 18,000. I have always given Vader a BP of 20,000 myself as I feel Midichlorins/The Force=Ki. |

I'm pretty sure Vader is referring the force as a whole. Obi-Wan said the Force is an energy field created by all living things. That means the Force is a universal threat if someone were to somehow control all the Force. Vader is powerful, but I don't think his Force abilities surpasses a potential planet busting threat. Vegeta would make short work of Vader since he has no weakness in his tail, and we've seen him let loose bursts of Ki. He could easily kill Vader with an explosive wave if he were to attempt to choke Vegeta out. |

Vader has no way to harm Raditz. None of his attacks will ever work, and he never hopes to even get touched by Raditz. The only thing here, if he used his mind, and used his precog, he could pretty well dodge Raditz. Raditz can still blow up the area they're standing on, and kill Vader. |
